Professional Expertise

• Specializes in the minimally invasive and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, including cholelithiasis, intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones, and benign liver tumors such as hepatic cysts, hemangiomas, and adenomas. Also provides integrated management of primary liver cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and metastatic liver cancer, particularly colorectal liver metastases.
• Skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic choledochoscopic surgery, laparoscopic hepatectomy, pancreaticoduodenectomy, hepatobiliary stone and tumor surgery, and microwave ablation of liver tumors.

Educational Background

Graduated from the eight-year Clinical Medicine Program at Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, in 2018, earning both a Bachelor of Medicine degree and a Doctor of Medicine (Surgery) degree.

Clinical Experience

• More than 10 years of frontline clinical experience in the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University.
• Served as a Visiting Doctor in the Departments of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at Tuen Mun Hospital and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong from 2024 to 2025, actively participating in clinical practice, including laparoscopic and robotic hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries.
• Has independently performed more than 100 laparoscopic cholecystectomies and common bile duct explorations, nearly 100 laparoscopic appendectomies and gastrointestinal perforation repairs, and participated in more than 300 complex hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
