Specializes in the comprehensive treatment of various malignancies, with particular expertise in lung cancer. Focuses on the early diagnosis, personalized precision medicine, targeted therapy, and multidisciplinary management of lung cancer. Has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of brain metastases from lung cancer, the mechanisms of EGFR-TKI resistance, and the full-course management of small cell lung cancer.

Educational Background

Graduated from Guangzhou Medical College in 1995. Subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Hematology and a Doctorate in Oncology.

• Over 28 years of experience in medical oncology.
• Professor of Oncology at Guangzhou Medical University, Master’s Supervisor, and Supervisor at the Postdoctoral Research Workstation of Guangzhou Medical University.
• Founding member of the Lung Cancer Specialty Group at the Cancer Center and Institute of Respiratory Diseases of Guangzhou Medical University.

Academic Achievements

• Led more than ten major scientific research projects funded by the Ministry of Health, as well as provincial- and municipal-level grants. Published nearly 100 academic papers, obtained national invention patents, and contributed as an editor or author to several oncology monographs.
• Published more than 40 papers in leading domestic and international journals, including Journal of Thoracic Oncology (JTO), Cancer Research, and International Journal of Cancer. Multiple research findings have been selected for oral presentations at major international conferences, including those organized by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), Cancer Genome Consortium (CGC), World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), and American Thoracic Society (ATS).
• As the first inventor, successfully obtained two invention patents, including a patent related to a prognostic biomarker for lung cancer and its clinical applications.
• Led several national- and provincial-level research projects, including Ministry of Health special projects, clinical research grants from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and funding from the Wu Jieping Medical Foundation. Research has focused on chemoradiotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and minimally invasive ablation techniques for advanced lung cancer, encompassing both mechanistic studies and clinical applications.
