Professional Expertise

• Treatment of cancer pain, including whole-person care that addresses body, heart, social, and spiritual needs; ultra-invasive therapies for refractory cancer pain (such as ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and intravaginal pump implantation); management of chronic pain in the neck, shoulders, back, and legs.
• Administration of obstetric anesthesia, labor analgesia, and pediatric anesthesia.
• Anesthesia for surgeries in head and neck, maxillofacial, thoracic, cardiovascular, and orthopedic departments.
• Anesthesia management for critically ill patients and expertise in difficult airway management.

Educational Background

• Graduated from the Medical Department of Sun Yat-sen University in 2000.
• Obtained a Master’s degree in Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University in 2005.
• Earned a Doctorate in Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University in 2017.

Clinical Experience

• Worked in the Department of Anesthesiology at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital for 18 years.
• Served as a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2007 to 2008.
• Participated in “Doctors Without Borders” in 2013, providing care at Kunduz Trauma Hospital in Afghanistan for war-related trauma.

Academic Achievements

• Published multiple papers in SCI journals on topics such as “anesthesia and tumors” and “anesthesia and brain development.”
• Secured several provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects.
• Received multiple teaching awards at Sun Yat-sen University, as well as excellence in teaching awards at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital.
