Yongyi CUI

Dr. Cui received her medical degree from Guangzhou Medical University in 1999. Later she served in Guangzhou Women and Children’s Hospital as an obstetrician and gynecologist until 2018. In 1999, she studied in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and from 2003 to 2004, in Prince of Wales Hospital the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Cui Yongyi specializes in common obstetrics and gynecological diseases, especially the management of perinatal medicine. She is highly experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of progestational, gestational, labor, and postpartum complications. Dr. Cui is also trained in dealing with many other issues including fetal abnormalities, gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Hepatitis B, premature births, twin pregnancies, and placenta previa. In addition, Dr. Cui is skilled in dealing with various obstetrical procedures, including difficult labors, midwifery, cesarean sections, and postpartum hemorrhages.

Apart from over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Cui qualified as a psychologist in 2011 and attended Guangzhou Brain Hospital for advanced study in psychological counseling for pregnant and postpartum women.

Dr. Cui is currently an expert member of Guangdong Medical Malpractice Appraisal, a member of Guangzhou Women’s Working Committee, a member of Guangdong Perinatal Society Diabetes Branch, and an expert consultant of Guangdong Doctor-Patient Mediation Committee.

Dr. Cui speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
