Lin Xianyi

Dr. Lin graduated with an undergraduate degree from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2005, followed by a master’s degree and a doctorate in 2008 and 2016 from Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2008, Dr. Lin entered the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2012 and 2019, Dr. Lin completed his standardized training as a resident physician and attending physician in internal medicine. He is highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of common internal diseases and the rescue of critical diseases. In 2020, Dr. Lin obtained the qualification of associate chief physician at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University.

Dr. Lin has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional gastrointestinal disease, peptic ulcer, acute pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease and other common diseases in the department of gastroenterology.
He specializes in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors and precancerous lesions.
He is excellent at the medical and endoscopic treatment of portal hypertension of cirrhosis, and skilled in endoscopic ligation, tissue glue and hardener treatment of esophageal and gastric variceal rupture and bleeding of cirrhosis.
He also specializes in viral hepatitis cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver medical treatment, and in the ERCP treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases, especially in endoscopic treatment of common bile duct stones, anastomotic stricture after liver transplantation, biliary fistula and malignant bile duct stricture.

Dr. Lin Xianyi is a member of the Digestive Endoscopy Physicians Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, a member of the Professional Group of Young Physicians of Digestive Endoscopy Physicians Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, a member of the Fatty Liver Professional Committee of Guangdong Liver Disease Association, and an outstanding clinical teacher of Sun Yat-sen University.
