Yuying LI

Dr. Li graduated from the clinical medicine program in 2017 at Zhongshan Medical College, Sun Yat-sen University. In 2020, she graduated with a master’s degree in dermatology and venereology from Sun Yat-sen University. She completed her residency training at the dermatology base of the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. She is currently qualified as an attending physician in dermatology.

Prior to joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Li worked at a public tertiary hospital in Guangzhou, and then worked as a dermatologist at an evidence-based medical clinic, where she was responsible for dermatology treatment and medical aesthetic related operations.

Dr. Li has extensive experience in the treatment of common dermatological diseases and sexually transmitted diseases, specializing in common skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis/eczema, acute/chronic urticaria, contact dermatitis, hormone dependent dermatitis; acne, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis; and folliculitis, ringworm/ ringworm, herpes zoster, chicken pox, etc.

She can also carry out dermatological treatment operations such as superficial mass excision (e.g. benign pigmented nevi, benign skin masses, etc.), laser treatment (smaller pigmented nevi, warts, seborrheic keratoses, etc.), phototherapy (psoriasis, vitiligo, etc.) She is highly skilled at skin rejuvenation management such as pigment problems (freckles, chloasma, brown nevus, etc.), vascular problems (rosacea, capillary dilation, etc.), skin texture improvement (scarring, wrinkles, etc.).

She has published several core journal papers during her master’s degree. She has also spoken at the National Academic Dermatological and Venereal Diseases Conference and East Asian Dermatology Conference. She is a certified physician of Allergan BOTOX injections, Thermage, M22 Light Star, Fidon laser device, and a member of the Chinese Medical Association of Dermatologists.
