Xin PENG

Dr. Peng graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in 2012, with a degree in clinical medicine. In 2015, she received her master’s degree in ophthalmology from Sun Yat-sen University in 2015. She then joined Sun Yat-sen University Eye Center, where she completed her residency training, participated in surgery and several subspecialty rotations, and was responsible for outpatient and ward work.

Dr. Peng practiced ophthalmology for nearly ten years at Zhongshan Eye Center of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong Minsheng Eye Hospital, and Guangzhou Vision Centennial Eye Clinic. Dr. Peng specializes in youth myopia prevention and control, and keratoplasty lens fitting. She is a member of the International Academy of Orthokeratology Asia (IAOA), and has plenty of experience in refractive and cataract microsurgery. She has performed about 200 cataract ultrasound emulsification procedures independently. As part of her extensive experience, she was a training doctor in the Chinese Health Express program initiated by the Center for International Exchange and Cooperation of the National Health Care Commission.
