Grace He

Dr. He graduated from Guangzhou Medical University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology. In 2023, she received her Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Southern Medical University.

Dr. He has participated in professional psychological training programs, such as the Sino-American Continual Training Program for Senior Psychotherapists of Psychoanalytic Orientation (2022-2025), and the Klein Clinical Workshop.

After graduation in 2016, Dr. He worked as a psychotherapist at Southern Hospital, Southern Medical University. Her responsibilities included psychological assessment and therapy for both outpatients and inpatient departments. During this period, she obtained her qualifications as a psychotherapist and psychological assessor. In 2020, Dr. He joined the International Department of South China Normal University Affiliated Middle School as a psychological counselor. Her role involved conducting psychological assessments, providing psychological counseling and promoting mental health courses among students. She also provided guidance on parent-child relationships for students’ parents.

She has completed courses on sand play therapy at both introductory and intermediate levels, and undertaken training for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT). She continues to carry out personal analysis and supervision for families, and specializes in children’s emotional issues, adolescent developmental problems, parent-child relationships, adult emotional issues and self-exploration. Her therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, with therapeutic theories and techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, sand play therapy, CBT, and BSFT.
