Jian Guo LI

Dr. Li received his master’s degree from Sun Yat-sen Medical University in June 1988, and his Doctor’s degree from Guangzhou Medical University in July 2009. Dr. Li is a professor, chief physician and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. He has been the director of the Department of Internal Medicine and the Director of the Department of Internal Medicine for eight years, and the director of the Department of Respiratory Medicine for 13 years. He is currently the deputy director of the Institute of Respiratory Diseases of Sun Yat-sen University.

Dr. Li has more than 40 years of rich clinical experience. He is excellent at the diagnosis and treatment of difficult diseases of respiratory system and the treatment of critical diseases. He is proficient in the clinical application of respiratory endoscopy and mechanical ventilation, and the treatment of chronic cough, shortness of breath, hemoptysis, chest pain, chest tightness. He has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, bronchiectasis, lung cancer, pulmonary infection, pulmonary heart disease, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary fibrosis, pleural effusion and other diseases.

Dr. Li has won the National May 1st Labor Medal, the National Advanced Scientific and Technological Worker award, the Yangcheng Good Doctor award, the Lingnan Famous Doctor title, and the Guangdong Province Against SARS First-class Merit, Guangzhou Against SARS model.

Dr. Li has served in several academic organizations in China, He was a member of the first Respiratory Physicians Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, deputy chairman of the Respiratory Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, deputy chairman of the Respiratory Physician Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, deputy chairman of the Internal medicine branch of Guangdong Medical Association, deputy chairman of the Respiratory Branch of Guangdong Health Management Society, Standing Committee of the Tuberculosis Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, and cross-strait medicine and health member of the Respiratory Professional Committee of the Exchange Association.

Dr. Li has been involved in clinical research of respiratory diseases for more than 40 years, presided over more than 10 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and published more than 60 research papers at home and abroad.
