Biography

Dr. Wang graduated from Hebei Medical University in 2002. She obtained a master’s degree in clinical oncology from the PLA Medical College (Beijing 301 Hospital) in 2006. In 2018, she pursued her doctoral studies in clinical oncology at the Department of Oncology of Capital Medical University. She successively studied in the Cancer Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital and Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. During this time, she also visited the Netherlands Cancer Institute in the Netherlands.

Before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Wang practiced at the Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University and the Third Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University for 20 years.

She established the first holistic integrative cancer rehabilitation clinic in Beijing, exploring and practicing a holistic integrative oncology rehabilitation management concept, which focuses on the idea of the whole-person, whole-life cycle, whole-discipline.

As a medical oncologist, her expertise covers medical treatment of solid tumors, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, endocrine therapy, antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) therapy for lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocarcinoma, soft tissue tumors, etc. In addition, she also has her own unique views on the treatment of cancerous pleural effusion management, nutritional management and Integrated rehabilitation management of cancer patients.

She has presided over several projects, including a capital health development research project, Beijing employee health management project, National Natural Science Foundation project, the Wu Jieping Foundation project, etc. She has also published several papers in the domestic core journals and the international journals such as the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology, and Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Journal. She set up an elective course “Introduction to Tumor Rehabilitation” for undergraduates in Capital Medical University.

Dr. Wang has also served as a committee member in several leading Chinese medical societies, including the Executive Director of Beijing Anti-Cancer Association (BACA), the Society of Tumor Micro-environment, China Anti-Cancer Association (STMC), the Youth Expert Committee of Cancer Chemotherapy, Chinese Medical Education Association (CMEA),  Expert Committee of Cancer Rehabilitation, the Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association,  Expert Committee of Cancer Intensive Care, and the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association.
