Welcome to Our New Pediatrician, Dr. Yating Zhang

Dr. Zhang Yating received his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Zhengzhou University in 2005, and a Master’s Degree in Pediatrics from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008. In 2009, he researched pediatric leukemia at the Prince of Wales Hospital at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Zhang has over six years of experience in Pediatrics, including the diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric diseases. He specializes in Pediatric Hematology. He started his career as a pediatrician in the Pediatric Department of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital. He completed his internship at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, rotating through the departments of Surgery, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics, among other departments.

Dr. Zhang has published papers in several medical journals and has obtained a grant in medical science from Guangdong Province. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Dr. Zhang speaks English and Mandarin, and will start seeing patients on August 18, 2014.
