Sara Zhang

Dr. Zhang received her undergraduate from Tongji Medical School, Huazhong Science & Technology University in 2005 and her medical degree from Southern Medical University in 2011. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Nanfang Hospital in 2007. After her residency, Dr. Zhang joined Nanfang Hospital and served as a staff physician, practicing obstetrics and gynecology. She also served on the teaching faculty for residents and medical students. Dr. Zhang worked in the OBGYN department in Ottawa hospital, Ottawa University, Canada as a visiting scientist in 2018.

Dr. Zhang is board-certified and treats women of all ages for a broad range of women’s health issues but has special expertise in high-risk obstetrics and laparoscopy procedures. Dr. Zhang has participated in many national and provincial scientific research projects, and recently published four articles on gynecology and obstetrics as the first author in domestic and foreign journals.

Dr. Zhang currently lives in Guangzhou with her family. She enjoys food and hiking. She likes to spend time reading, cooking and exercising during her spare time.
