Jianlin Yu

Professor Yu Jianlin graduated from the Third Military Medical University in 1985, and then worked in the Pearl River Hospital of Southern Medical University (the former second Affiliated Hospital of the First Military Medical University). Currently, he is the associate chief physician and associate professor of Southern Medical University Pearl River Hospital.

Professor Yu has been engaged in clinical work in the department of gastroenterology for more than 30 years. He has a solid theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience in the field of gastroenterology, and is excellent at dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and critical diseases in the digestive system. He is highly skilled at endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, has an in-depth understanding of the endoscopic characteristics of digestive tract diseases, and has mastered common digestive tract endoscopy operations. In addition, he is also very proficient in using digestive endoscopy to complete screening of early gastrointestinal cancer, bleeding hemostasis of digestive tract, expansion of benign and malignant stenosis and stent placement of digestive tract lumen, resection of digestive tract polyps, endoscopic lithotomy of bile duct stones, internal and external drainage of biliary and pancreatic diseases, EMR and ESD endoscopic surgical treatment.

In 2019, Professor Yu won the fifth “Yang Cheng Good Doctor” title. He is the member of Guangdong Province Chinese Medical Association of Digestive Endoscopy committee. He is also the standing committee of Chinese medical association professional committee which is learn about cirrhosis of the liver disease. In addition, he is a member of Physicians Association Digestive Endoscope Work Committee of Guangdong province and a member of Guangdong province Digestive Endoscopy of the Bile Pancreatic group.
Professor Yu has co-authored two monographs: Modern Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment technology of Digestive System and Modern Digestive System Tumor. He has published more than 10 academic papers and won the second prize of medical Achievements of the former First Military Medical University Hospital.
