Steven DEE

Dr. Dee received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Malmö University in Sweden in 2002.

Dr. Dee has over 20 years of clinical experience in practicing dentistry in Sweden and China. Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Dee worked as a dentist with the Public Dental Health Service in Sweden for over seven years, where he developed expertise in hospital dentistry and managing dental conditions in both children and adults.

Dr. Dee had also worked at Beijing United Family Hospital as the Chief Dentist and Shanghai United Family Hospital, before developing our dental clinics at Guangzhou United Family Hospital. He became the Guangzhou United Family Hospital’s Section Chief of Dental in 2022.

Dr. Dee specializes in oral therapy for adults and children, he can provide a variety of oral care, good at the following aspects:

Pediatrics: Behavioral modification, education and prevention, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns and restorations with or without conscious sedation, treating patients in the operating room under general anesthesia.

Prosthodontics: Crown and bridge, post and core build ups, removable partial and full denture fabrication.

Endodontics: Treatment of both anterior and posterior teeth utilizing traditional techniques as well as contemporary techniques of rotary instrumentation.

Oral & Maxillofacial: Surgical and simple extractions, treatment of odontogenic infections: incisions and drainage, culture and sensitivity tests and pharmaceutical management.

Periodontics: Scaling and root planning (non-surgical and surgical).

Implants: Understanding of principles in implant placements, case analysis, and performed placement of implants and restoration.
