Jessica CHEN

Dr. Chen graduated from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutics. After that, she continued studying in the School of Pharmacy at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, and obtained a master’s degree of Pharmacology in 2007.

From 2007 to 2017, Dr. Chen worked in clinical pharmacy in Guangzhou First Hospital, where she became familiar with the management of pharmaceutical preparation inspection, hospital dispensing in outpatient department and rational drug use. She was also deeply involved in the management of antibacterial drugs in the hospital, and preparation of materials in the pharmacy department for evaluation and review. She is proficient in the operation of clinical pharmacy, such as adverse drug reaction monitoring, blood drug concentration monitoring, prescription review, medication consultation, especially for chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, perioperative medication management, have rich clinical experience. In April 2015, she completed her standardized training for clinical pharmacists in the Department of Nephrology at Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. In 2017, she completed her clinical pharmacist teacher training in QianFoShan Hospital, which is affiliated to Shandong University.

Dr. Chen obtained her qualification of Pharmacist-in-charge by the Ministry of Health in 2012, and joined Guangzhou United Family Hospital in September 2018. She is committed to providing high-quality clinical pharmaceutical care for patients, focusing on providing inpatients with medication integration and quality control of rational drug use in hospital.
