Sophia LIANG

Dr. Liang received her Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine at Anhui Medical University in 2014. She continued to study at Sun Yat-sen University and completed her Master’s degree in Pediatrics in 2017, researching asthma and respiratory diseases in children.

Before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Liang worked as a pediatrician in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital for 5 years, rotating in the departments of pediatric respiratory, rheumatology, hematology, PICU, NICU, emergency, etc. Dr. Liang went to Creighton University as a visiting scholar for medical exchange and further studies. She’s familiar with the diagnosis, treatment and operation of common pediatric diseases , especially skilled at respiratory, digestive, blood and immune system diseases in children. She has completed standardized training for resident physicians in 2020 and obtained her intermediate professional title certificate of pediatrics in 2021. In her subsequent chief resident rotation training, Dr. Liang accumulated rich clinical experience in critical illnesses. She has studied children’s bronchoscopy technology at Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center, and obtained relevant certificates. She can perform bronchoscopy operation independently.

In addition, Dr. Liang has made many achievements in scientific research. She has participated in the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and published several research articles in the fields of asthma and immunology.

Dr. Liang speaks English and Mandarin.
