Yinguang SUN

Dr. Sun graduated from the clinical medicine department of Shanghai Railway Medical College (now Tongji University) with a Bachelor’s degree in 1994. In 2001, he graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical College) with a Master’s degree. He earned her Doctor’s degree in Internal Medicine (Cardiovascular Disease) in 2007 from the Medical College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has extensive clinical experience and has worked as an associate chief physician or cardiologist at Grade-A tertiary hospitals such as the Department of Cardiology at Ruijin Hospital, affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical College, and at Parkway Health in Singapore, a foreign medical institution. He is also an expert in echocardiography in China, specializing in exercise stress echocardiography and trans-oesophageal echocardiography. He also has profound knowledge in other non-invasive cardiac investigations such as exercise ECG, ambulatory ECG, long-range ECG monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Dr. Sun has published 58 academic papers. He is a member of the Ultrasound Medicine Branch of the Shanghai Association of Social Medical Institutions, a member of the Cardiovascular Specialist Society of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the European Society of Echocardiography.
