Ming LUO

Dr. Luo Ming was awarded the title of deputy chief physician. She graduated in optometry from Sun Yat-sen Medical University in 2000, and has been working for the ophthalmology department for more than 20 years.

She worked at the Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital as director of the Optometry Clinic. In 2021, she was dispatched by Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission to join the “Guangzhou Medical Team for Xinjiang”, supporting the Shufu County People’s Hospital of Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang. Her role was to guide the development of ophthalmology and improve the technical and management functions of the hospital, which was well received by medical staff and patients.

Dr. Luo is excellent at prevention and treatment of juvenile myopia, difficult keratoplasty fitting, oblique amblyopia, presbyopia, visual fatigue, visual function training, cataract, glaucoma, retinal disease, dry eye, video terminal syndrome, etc.

Dr. Luo is a member of the first Professional Committee of Guangdong Optometry and Myopia Prevention and Control Society, a member of the Standing Committee of Refractive and Contact Lens Professional Committee of Guangdong Optometry Society, a member of the Standing Committee of Vision Health Professional Committee of Guangdong Optometry Society, a member of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Children’s Eye Disease Professional Committee, and a member of the Professional Committee of Optometry and Amblyopia of Guangdong Medical Association.
