Biography
Dr. Minyan Feng graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 2016, with a bachelor’s of Clinical Medicine. She then pursued a master’s degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health at Sun Yat-sen University Third Affiliated Hospital. During her studies, she also completed the standardized training for resident doctors. She completed rotations in outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric light ward, psychiatric intensive care unit, neurology, cardiology, and the ICU, becoming proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and OCD. She also learned the operation of modified electroconvulsive therapy (MECT) and other physical therapies.
Before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Feng worked in the Clinical Psychology Department of Sun Yat-sen University Eighth Affiliated Hospital (Shenzhen Futian). She was responsible for outpatient treatment of clinical psychology patients, consultations for inpatients and affiliated community mental health centers, and participated in social psychology services in Shenzhen. During the epidemic period, she also performed psychological interventions for isolated individuals. With her rich clinical experience, she obtained an intermediate qualification in psychiatry in 2022.
Dr. Feng is highly skilled in consulting and treating adolescent psychological problems, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders, depression, bipolar disorder and other diseases.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Feng has participated in several clinical studies on adolescent mental disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, and other topics. She has also published relevant papers in core journals.
Dr. Feng has extensive clinical teaching experience. During her tenure at the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, she served as the secretary of the Psychiatry and Psychology Teaching and Research Department, and regularly undertook clinical internship guidance and practical teaching tasks for Sun Yat-sen University School of Medicine.
