Biography
Dr. Wu holds a medical doctorate in endocrinology and has undertaken further studies in the Department of Endocrinology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. From 2008 to 2009, he served as a visiting scholar at Yale University School of Medicine in the United States.
Dr. Wu has been engaged in frontline clinical work for 40 years and has held the title of senior professional for 16 years. He is currently a level-three chief physician and a master’s degree supervisor, having always worked in tertiary (level-three) hospitals.
Dr. Wu specializes in innovative treatments for erectile dysfunction in male diabetes patients. He also focuses on the standardized diagnosis and treatment of endocrine and metabolic diseases, including diabetes, gout, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid nodules, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity, with particular expertise in managing hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism before, during, and after pregnancy.
Dr. Wu has a broad knowledge base and serves as the chief expert in interpreting high-end physical examination reports. He is highly proficient in capturing health information to ensure that every examinee receives credible, appropriate, and justified solutions.
Dr. Wu has achieved multiple academic accomplishments, including a patent from the People’s Republic of China for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in male diabetes patients and a utility model patent for a self-ejecting insulin pen holder. He oversees and participates in several national, provincial, and municipal key scientific research projects and has published numerous high-quality papers in international medical journals.
Dr. Wu holds positions in several academic organizations in China, including serving as the deputy director of both the first and second committees of the Guangzhou Diabetes Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the deputy director of both the first and second committees of the Food Safety and Nutrition Professional Committee of the Guangdong Health Management Society, a standing committee member of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Committee of the Guangdong Health Management Society, a standing committee member of the Obesity and Weight Management Committee of the Guangdong Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Society, a standing committee member of the Physical Examination Committee of the Guangdong Health Management Society, and a member of the first to seventh committees of the Guangzhou Endocrinology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, as well as a member of the second and third committees of the Guangzhou Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
