Biography

Dr. Wu Yixing is a medical doctor specializing in endocrinology. He once studied in the Department of Endocrinology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. From 2008 to 2009, he went to Yale University School of Medicine in the United States as a government-sponsored visiting scholar.

Dr. Wu has been engaged in front-line clinical work for nearly 40 years, and is a third-level chief physician and master’s supervisor.

He has worked in Xinjiang Yili Friendship Hospital (Grade III), the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University (Grade III), the Twelfth People’s Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (Grade III), and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (Grade III).

Dr. Wu specializes in the innovative treatment of male diabetic erectile dysfunction;

Standardized diagnosis and treatment of endocrine and metabolic diseases, including diabetes, gout, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, etc., especially the management of hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism during and around pregnancy.

Dr. Wu has many academic achievements, including the People’s Republic of China invention patent for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in male diabetic patients, and the People’s Republic of China utility model patent for self-ejecting insulin pen storage device.

Responsible for and participated in a number of provincial and municipal key scientific research projects, and published a number of high-quality papers in international medical journals.

Dr. Wu has served in many academic organizations in China, including the first and second vice Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association Guangzhou Branch of Diabetes, the first and second vice Chairman of the Food Safety and Nutrition Committee of Guangdong Health Management Society, and the standing Committee of the second Committee of Endocrine and Metabolism Committee of Guangdong Health Management Society.

Member of Obesity and Weight Management Committee of Guangdong Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
