Biography

Physiotherapist Guo graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation. She subsequently joined the Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen (Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center) and has earned the Intermediate Supervisor Certification for Rehabilitation Therapists from the National Health Commission. Physiotherapist Guo is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating common conditions within the rehabilitation department.

She also participated in an exchange program at Saint Louis University in the United States and served as the team doctor for the Jiangsu Province Epee Fencing Team, where she focused on sports training-related responsibilities.

Physiotherapist Guo specializes in posture correction and rehabilitation, adolescent scoliosis rehabilitation, management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, post-orthopedic surgery rehabilitation, and rehabilitation for stroke sequelae. She is adept in techniques such as myofascial release, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) posture restoration, Schroth scoliosis correction, and Maitland joint mobilization. Her treatment philosophy is holistic and patient-centered.

Additionally, Physiotherapist Guo has made significant contributions to clinical research. Her study on the dynamics of flat feet was published in “Contemporary Sports Technology” in 2018.

Physiotherapist Guo currently holds several positions in academic organizations in China. She is a member of the inaugural committee of the Pain Manual Rehabilitation Group of the Rehabilitation Treatment Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Rehabilitation Medical Association and a member of the first committee of the Rehabilitation Medicine Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Pingshan District Medical Association, among others.
