  • Diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases and endocrine metabolic disorders, such as peptic ulcers, chronic gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, indigestion, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic hepatitis, cholelithiasis, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, etc.
  • Management of critical conditions related to the digestive system and endocrine metabolic disorders, including massive gastrointestinal bleeding, severe pancreatitis, hepatic encephalopathy, diabetic ketoacidosis, and hyperosmolar hyperglycemic coma.
  • Endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic techniques: Endoscopic submucosal excavation (ESE), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), and piecemeal mucosal resection (EPMR), endoscopic hemostasis techniques, endoscopic repair of gastrointestinal defects, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy/jejunostomy (PEG/PEJ), dilation of gastrointestinal strictures (with bougies and balloons) and stricture incision, gastrointestinal stent placement, endoscopic photodynamic therapy, foreign body removal from the gastrointestinal tract, endoscopic treatment of hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids, and endoscopic treatment for obesity/diabetes (such as bypass stent placement).

  • Graduated from the five-year clinical medicine program at the First Military Medical University in 1987, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine degree.
  • Graduated from the Department of Gastroenterology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University in 1995, obtaining a Master of Medicine degree.
  • Graduated from the Department of Tropical Military Hygiene (Immunology) at the First Military Medical University in 2006, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree.

  • Five years of medical, preventive, and health care work in grassroots units of the Hainan Military District.
  • Seven years of clinical work in internal medicine at the People’s Liberation Army No. 177 Hospital.
  • Nineteen years of clinical and endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic work in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Combined Hospital of Southern Medical University.
  • Eleven years of teaching in internal medicine and diagnostic studies at the First Military Medical University/Southern Medical University.
  • Promoted to Deputy Chief Physician in 2002.
