Biography

Dr. Jingxian Wang graduated from Guangzhou Medical University with a five-year psychology major in 2012. He received continuous training and supervision in sand table game therapy from 2011 to 2013. He completed the child psychological development and educational psychology of the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2013 to 2015. In the course, he participated in the Sino-German Psychoanalysis Continuous Training and Supervision Program from 2014 to 2017, and he participated in the Sino-French Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis Theory and Clinical System Continuous Training Program from 2018 to 2021 (Professor Claude Schauder’s team).

From 2012 to 2021, Dr. Jingxian Wang also received training in structural family therapy techniques, analytical and experiential psychological counseling techniques, and the Sino-German Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy Guangzhou Continuous Project.

Dr. Wang Jingxian has been deeply involved in first-line psychological consultation and treatment, and his skills have been recognized by patients, visitors, colleagues and predecessors. His cumulative duration of consultation/treatment is over 4,500 hours.

Dr. Wang Jingxian is excellent at dealing with children and adolescents’ emotional (growth) problems, marriage and family/parent-child relationship problems, adult emotional management (depression, anxiety), etc. The techniques mastered include: psychodynamic therapy, sand table game therapy, structured family therapy, CBT therapy, etc.

Dr. Wang Jingxian has obtained the national psychotherapist certification and the national second-level psychological counselor qualification.
