Yahong ZHAO

Dr. Zhao graduated from Zhongshan Medical University. She has over 20 years working and teaching experience in the cardiology department in Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital. She is currently the chairperson of the atherosclerotic disease committee with the Guangdong Elderly Care Association, the Standing Committee of the Peripheral Vascular Intervention Branch of the Guangdong Society of Interventional Cardiology, the Geriatrics Committee of the Guangdong Medical Association and is also a member of the Cardiovascular Branch of Guangdong Provincial Hospital.

Dr. Zhao specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, heart failure, and coronary heart disease, various types of cardiomyopathy, dissection of aorta, renal artery stenosis, pacemaker therapy for bradycardia, and others. Dr. Zhao is also skilled in drug and catheter ablation treatment for tachyarrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and others.

Dr. Zhao is qualified in cardiac catheterization and has a rich experience in catheter interventional therapy for coronary heart disease.

Dr. Zhao speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
