Weiqing YANG

Dr. Yang graduated from the Guangzhou Medical University in 2009, then worked in the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for nearly 13 years. As a urologist, his expertise covers clinical diagnosis and treatment of urinary calculi, prostate diseases, urinary tumors, pediatric prepuce, laparoscopic herniorrhaphy in children, hydrocele and other diseases.

He is good at minimally invasive surgery for treatment of urinary calculi. So far, he has independently performed more than 3000 minimally invasive lithotomy operations , including RIRS,PCNL. He also specializes in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia by transurethral laser excision and electric resection of prostate, and the treatment of renal cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, adrenal tumor, retroperitoneal tumor and other diseases by laparoscopic technique.In 2019, he visited Klinikum Lippe Hospital of Hannover Medical College in Germany to learn Da Vinci robotic surgery.

Dr. Yang has presided over and participated in a number of provincial-level and national-level scientific research projects, and has published many articles in Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Chinese Journal of Endoscopy Urology. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of Minimally invasive Urology Branch of Guangzhou Medical Association, a member of urology Branch of Guangdong Doctors Association, a member of laser Branch of Guangdong Urology and Reproductive Association of Guangdong Province, and a member of renal surgery Branch of Guangdong Urology and Reproductive Association of Guangdong Province.
