Innovative and Imported Drug Therapy

Guangzhou United Family Hospital is equipped to provide compliant access to selected innovative therapies, original imported drugs, and medications available through the Hong Kong-Macao Drug and Medical Device Connect initiative. For patients requiring targeted therapies, immunotherapies, ADCs, biologics, or supportive care medications, the Center brings together oncologists, pharmacists, nurses, and case managers to oversee indication review, treatment planning, medication coordination, infusion scheduling, adverse-event monitoring, and follow-up care. All medications are prescribed in accordance with national regulations, hospital policies, approved indications, physician assessment, and pharmacy verification requirements.

Case Management Throughout the Care Journey

Cancer patients often require repeated coordination of medical-record collection, imaging follow-up, pathology review, genetic testing, medication evaluation, infusion scheduling, cost discussions, and follow-up visits. Day Infusion Therapy

Before treatment, physicians review test results and medication plans, pharmacists participate in medication verification and counseling, nursing staff monitor vital signs and infusion-related reactions throughout treatment, and follow-up examinations and subsequent treatment cycles are scheduled according to established protocols.
