Biography

Dr. Zhou graduated from the School of Medicine at Nanhua University in 2006. He then worked at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University and Guangzhou Taihe Cancer Hospital, where he became proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in the field of gastroenterology, as well as in the emergency management of critical illnesses. He is also skilled in gastrointestinal endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and endoscopic treatments, and obtained the qualification of Deputy Chief Physician at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University in 2017.

Before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Zhou worked at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University for over 10 years. He furthered his expertise by undergoing advanced training in EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), EUBS (Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided Biopsies), and endoscopic treatments at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Hospital, and in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) at Shanghai Changhai Hospital. He joined Guangzhou Taihe Cancer Hospital in December 2019, and worked there for nearly five years.

In addition to his extensive work experience in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and gastroenterology, Dr. Zhou has profound expertise in operating and treating patients with gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, duodenoscopes, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), endoscopic treatment of common bile duct stones, endoscopic hemostasis with titanium clips for massive gastrointestinal bleeding, band ligation for esophageal varices, injection of histoacryl glue for hemostasis in the gastric fundus, and placement of gastrointestinal stents and gastrostomy.

Dr. Zhou has published numerous professional academic articles in medical journals.
